Angelfish are popular in freshwater aquariums because of their strong personalities and unique shape. With their strong personality, however, they can become aggressive during feedings but are otherwise generally peaceful. They prefer a well-aquascaped tank that strikes a balance with lots of swimming space but also contains driftwood, rocks, and plenty of plants. Water should be soft and slightly acidic.
