Juveniles have a orange body with white spots and black outlines. Adults are speckled blue in colour with yellows, reds, and blues and an orange face with green markings.

Facts
These fish are generally peaceful within a community. These wrasses bury themselves in the sand for sleeping so not to worry if you don’t see them out and about during the evening after the lights are out. A lid on the aquarium is recommended as they may jump. Should not be kept with invertebrates.
