These shrimp have a symbiotic relationship with Watchmen Gobies. The shrimp have poor eyesight, but are excellent at burrowing and scavenging for food under rock that they share, while the Goby has great eyesight and warn the shrimp of potential threats by moving in a specific way. They prefer an aquarium with lots of sand and rock work and are reef-safe. Their pinchers can make a snapping sound, but they are not harmful. This duo adds a fascinating dynamic to any tank!
